The much awaited film for the Roshan family has finally released. With Hrithik Roshan in a double role (now we get the reason for the double 'r' in the name KRRISH ) the film stars Priyanka Chopra ,Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut.Even before the movie was out, Krrish troll had taken over the social networking for its music and Krrish's costume. Well to be honest the Hrithik's costume actually works. If you look carefully you'll see all the sponsors in background. Flair pen , The Charcoal Project and DelMonte. The whole look of Mumbai is changed , domestic flights fly over Worli and Wankhede stadium.
Anthilla look a like is torn down beautifully (Wish Ambani look a like was too there, would have given it a realistic look :p)
The film starts with a quick flashback with Amitabh Bachchan's voice .From the time Rohit was born, Rekha realizes that her grandson has super powers, Krrishna finding his dad Rohit who was held by Dr.Arya in Singapore .So once Rohit and Krrishna have reunited ,Rohit becomes a scientist working on a project to know the logic behind Jaadoos secret. DHOOOP .
Krrishna flipping between jobs as he is too busy saving the world as Krrish .At first he works at Air India then at some security company wher he is kicked out because he was ran off from a jewelry during a robbery .And while he was missing, Krrish comes to save the day.After his security job his works as a waiter in a Chinese restaurant where people come to eat Chinese but thrash the owner in Indian .Yes the jokes are that lame .
In other part of the world Kaal is born . With his evil plan to rule the world , this paraplegic does various scientific experiment to find a perfect bone marrow match and creating mutants (amanavs) to find the match . (Couldn't have he applied for a organ donor ). So to fund his experiments he makes a virus and sends it to Namibia. Then you have a montage of clips of people dying due to malaria in Namibia wrongly used in the film. So to make an antidote Rohit is asked to do the same. Then he realizes that virus is not born but made . Kaal then release the antidote at a higher cost . Then to gain a higher profit he send that virus to country where the population is in billion . No credits to guess the name .But antidote is gonna require 10 days to produce , so Rohit has to do something to help Krrish save the world. They do find some way . Then you have a dance sequence.
The story changes from here . Finding answers to all the questions Kaal tries to kill Krrish while , his mutant Kaaya falls in love with Krrishna .Kaal finds that he is the experimental son of Rohit , he gives his bone marrow to Kaal . Kaals suit could have been more effective. And then there is huge fight between the good and bad.
The only thing that worked for me was the VFX and the Sound Design . Red ChiliesVFX does a decent good . Sound effect works well to . The action sequence is the best in the climax . Kangana Ranaut is at her best . After loosing all faith in Vivek Oberoi in Grand Masti , he recovers from all that in Krrish 3.
The film is okay . Borring in same parts and just lame in others . This three hour long leaves you nothing but sleepy in your seat. The only thing that will wake you up is the sound effects and VFX.
If you want to see the VFX work done by Red Chilies , Krrish 3 is just fine.
